First United Presbyterian Church
Our Missions Partners
The mission of First United Presbyterian Church of Queens Village is to steadfastly proclaim God’s full redemption through His Son, Jesus Christ both locally and globally. To this end we have partnered with three organizations changing lives in the Philippines and Africa.
Little Children of the Philippines

LCP, now has a ministry to more than 5,000 people in 14 communities on Negros Island who participate in and benefit from the LCP project. They are supported by child sponsors from 48 states and 9 countries around the world.
The following distinctive features make this program unique: (1) family centered, (2) community based, (3) participatory (i.e. managed largely by the beneficiaries), (4) comprehensive (covering the basic needs of the children).
Why should you get involved? There are an estimated 150 million street children worldwide. 1.5 million are currently in the Philippines. 2.2 million Filipino preschoolers suffer from malnutrition and every day 300 Filipino children die of preventable or curable diseases.
Missionaries Gerald and Carol Boehlke

Gerald is involved in pastoral training, evangelism, and church building. He teaches in a Bible college in Kigoma, Tanzania and does seminars in different locations. He is also involved in personal evangelism wherever he goes. Carol is active in music and children’s ministry. The Lord has given her many songs, and she sings them in Swahili in church services.
Recently they have moved to the fishing village of Kiziba, in a largely Muslim area, where they have built a church and school. They have been successful in reaching children of both Christian and Muslim families through this school.
Ndielu Parish Nkporo

The Presbyterian Church of Nigeria is a Presbyterian church in the Federal Republic of Nigeria and subscribes to the Westminster Confession of Faith.
The denomination has nine synods, more than 50 presbyteries and over 2,000 congregations, and almost 7,000 ministers and 3,806,690 members across the country.
The congregation of First United Presbyterian Church in consultation with a local friend of the church helps to ensure that the Pastor of the Ndielu Parish Nkporo has the financial means necessary to support his family and to continue his ministry.
